Narvistar HD86

This Polyester based TPU Narvistar HD86 has following properties :

Excellent Abrasion Resistance
Excellent Mechanical Properties
Excellent Chemical Resistance
Excellent Resistance against Oil and Fat
Excellent Elasticity
Excellent Processing capabilities by (butt) welding
The flexibility at low temperatures (< -20 C) is low
The hydrolysis resistance (steam) and Microbial resistance is low

Applications :

Base material for sealings and gaskets
Base material for straight and conical funnels
Skirting material in demanding applications
As lagging material on conveyor belting and timing belting

Please note that Narviflex also has Polyether based Narvistar in the range (transparant, white, blue). These versions are less resistant to abrasion (but much better than rubber), they are resistant to hydrolysis (steam), have a better microbial resistance and are resistant to very low temperatures. They are Food Approved.
